Even in an economy like this, there are many ways to make money. So if you want to know how to make money, you've come to the right place. It doesn't matter your age, gender, race or physical ability. You would be hard pressed to find someone who is incapable of making money. The great part about it is there are easy ways to make money as well as some ways that require time or a special skill set. What you have to first deal with is your mental state. I'll give you a couple of examples from the bible. There is a story told around two lepers that were banished out of the city. The city was famished and so were they. As they were sitting, one said to the other, "Why should we sit here til we die? If we sit here, we'll surely die. If we go to the city, they may kill us for coming into the city as lepers jeopardizing the health of the citizens, but due to the wide spread famine, they may have mercy on us and help us." So they decided to go to the city and lo and behold there was a battle that took place and soldiers from other camps brought food and other substances with them, but in the heat of the battle they lost heart and ran; leaving all their stuff behind. Well, the lepers had a feast.

The other is a parable Jesus told of a steward that mishandled his master's goods. The steward was summoned by his master and was set a date to answer for himself because he was going to be rejected from being steward. Well, the steward thought to himself seeking a way to rectify himself before his appointment with his master. He accepted he didn't have any other skills to support himself and if he were to be reduced to begging, he was too ashamed to do that. So he decided to do what he knows. He went to those that owed his master and had them pay something on what they owed. It doesn't openly say whether the payment was to be a paid in full or just an installment on the total. But it showed that at least the steward was making an attempt to at least get something rather than waiting for those that owe his master to get around to settling their debts. In the end, the master commended the unjust steward for what he did.

I used the two above examples because they reveal two powerful enemies to making money. It's best not to go into defence mode. These traits are prevalent in the majority of the world's population. Its failure to take disciplined action and fear of shame and embarrassment. These two culprits have stopped more progress than lack of knowing what to do ever could. If you can overcome these flaws, you can write your own ticket to success. Most of us will begin a project, but go flat in the follow through. Think of all the weight set, the exercising outfits, the gym subscription, the tread mills, the tools, the how to books and on and on that are just gathering dust because we started on something but lost the drive to keep going; so we never so the results. You have to beat this weakness. Ask your self a question. How's that not taking disciplined action been working for you?

The other character fault, fear of shame and embarrassment is just as debilitating. Granted, you should have shame about some things, but if it's a legitimate opportunity, shame has no place in it. Some people are afraid of that feeling of rejection and having to see the person in another environment who turned down their offer . They're afraid of the feeling of embarrassment that may come from people finding out they're looking for ways to make extra money. It may give the impression of being in financial trouble. They may fear the embarrassment of failure itself. At any rate, that fear of shame will rob you of your opportunity to go forward and leave you dependent on someone else idea of your self worth and whether you should be allowed to advance or not. That is the real shame. You have the same right to succeed as those that have gone on before you and achieved it. The only way to beat these enemies of success is to meet them head on and win by shear determination. You have to push through to the end result. Just the other day, as I was driving, I saw a guy standing on the side of a busy street outside a tax office wearing a mint green statue of liberty outfit; holding the US flag and dancing around like he was trying to fire ants out of his pants. The tax office was called liberty tax services. Now I don't know about you, but I would be a little hesitant about standing on the street of a busy road for all to see me in a liberty outfit. Maybe I would if it came with a piece that completely conceals my face. But, hey, you do what you have to if you want to get noticed and make that money. My problem is, I didn't ask him, but he probably was hired or was on a wage and had to do it. Instead of making a spectacle for one low paying personal business, why not be your own boss and go around soliciting other businesses for a fee and make some real money. You could cut out the middle man and keep more of the profits; and pick your own costumes that have head pieces that hide your identity. Or you could hire your own workers and pay them a small fee to do that all over town. You see, you have to change your way of thinking before the real money making opportunities reveal themselves.

The average Individual is steeped in debt or is always one paycheck away from being harassed by creditors; so they want to know the easy ways to make money in the shortest time possible. Well, the quickest way to make a few dollars is to do what Jesus did. Remember when he taught the masses. He had compassion on them and wanted to feed them before he sent them away. They may or may not let you leave with the finished prepared tax if you don't use the filing option. You could use that to your advantage and agree to prepare, file and mail it for them for $10 or $20. It takes less than twenty minutes to complete a 1040EZ. That's anywhere from $30 to $60 an hour. Consider how many you could do in a neighborhood and day? Because of the sensitive information that you're privy to, you may want to avoid insisting you take their information home and opt to do it in their presence. You'd be surprised how many people would jump at the chance to have their taxes filed and out of their hair.
	Offer specialized landscaping that their regular guy wont do. You don't have to have a ;large mover or truck to earn extra money landscaping people yards. During this time, pine needles, pine cones, dead branches, over grown bushes and so many other things that's done by your neighbor's yard man can be done by you. Usually, the average landscaper doesn't trim branches from over grown trees and shrubs without adding more to the bill. They'd rather focus on what they do in order to get as many yards done per day as possible; and nit picking with extra requests tends to slow them up. So they have no problem dishing the job over to someone else. Just invest in a sharp saw and go around offering to shape up their tree branches in preparation for the coming spring and summer. Once again, many people don't even think about having this done because they feel they would have to pay crazy prices to a tree surgeon. Focus on limbs that aren't hanging over homes and other stuff that might get damaged from falling debris. You don't have to be bonded in such cases.
	Do what the maid wont. yes, she may not do windows, but you should. Especially during the winter. Snow is filthy. It leaves an awful residue. You can offer your services to clean the snow off the window, the seal and clean the glass. In many cases, they'll even let you use their household tools to do it. The only problem with the market place thing is you will not likely get paid until the job is done and who knows how long it's going to take them to finish shopping. The best would be going around the neighborhoods offering your services.

More than likely, they'll want the rest of the windshield done. You'll want to treat a spot that they don't use for viewing like somewhere on the passenger side. Just buy some sturdy trash bags to hold your stuff. Agree to a pickup time and stick to it. That could be a chore for your kids. You could even drive them around and let them collect it. People tend to melt over stuff like that and will grin from ear to ear over their chance to help these wayward kids learn discipline and hard work. You don't have get it all. Usually, you'll have no problem dumping it at the drop point if you tell the attendant that you're helping out those who live in the area but don't have the transportation to come themselves.
